For everyone still stuck getting started on TikTok:

10 steps anyone can follow to get quick results on Tiktok. The secret is to just START! With this cheatsheet, you are all set to get reach on the biggest new platform of the past ten years:

1. Start a new Tiktok account and fill in the bio and add a profile photo.

2. Follow the 5-10 people who “if you had their followers” you’d be happy

3. Use search, not explore to start with. Like and comment on relevant things to train the algorithm that’s what you like (and people you want to be in front of)

---

4. Every time you see a video and think “I could do that” save it to your phone

---

5. You’ll find out such videos are not that hard to do, and you wouldn’t feel weird doing them, this is enough of a starting point

---

6. Once you have Around 100 saved, start making your version of them in bulk to get familiar with it, whether you post them live or not. Plenty of “boring” niches are doing well, search them if you don’t believe me, EVERY NICHE is on there, gaining followers and reach every day. You should join them.

7. Where relevant, put trending sounds in the background of your general TikTok for free algorithm reach (even if volume is very low); ditto using trending filters

---

8. Hit up 50-100 content creators a day to feature your sound/music. I’ve heard of people going from zero to 100k followers in six weeks using this method

9. Post once a day 5-7 days a week. Notice what works and do more of it.

10. Once you have 10k followers, reach out to people who also have 10k followers and do collabs and shoutout/reposts.

There’s 100x layers beyond this but if you do the above, it’ll be the best social media platform you can be on by far right now.
