I made $50,000+ on a group coaching launch with no paid ads. Here's everything I learned:
I made around $50,000 on multiple group coaching launches. Here's some key learnings from one of my most profitable launches:
1. Terrified of Paypal freezing my account, I took Stripe payment only.
Over 50% of Stripe payments failed on this launch 🥲.
Luckily I managed to recover almost all of them by setting up a Gumroad account which took every form of payment.
Later found out from some of Dan Meredith’s network not having Paypal can impact your sales by 10%-20% (!)
LEARNING:
Have multiple ways to pay. When I launched my new agency last summer, I took Venmo, Ca$happ, bank wire tranfers in UK, USA, Canada and Europe, Revolut, Transferwise, Paypal, even Bitcoin!
The agency did $100,000 in revenue quickly and this was part of the reason!
2. If you have spent time building a community, your launches are MUCH more likely to make big money ($10,000+) from a launch
If you’ve been reading these posts, you’ll understand why I talk about why it’s worth making content every day if you’re a solopreneur/coach/consultant/personal brand.

3. BUYERS are VERY OFTEN not the people who engage with your posts.
Most people silently watch/read your posts.
Be consistent and make an offer when you feel it’s time.
Also “I don’t think these type of people will buy my product” I hear a lot. You only know by getting it to a large spread of people who follow you, and seeing what comes back.
4. For internet marketing stuff, you NEED upsells once someone buys something (Clickfunnels is great for this)
On this launch, it raised the amount we made from the launch significantly.
The only exception is if you’re building a low-ticket monthly subscription (like I am with this Substack)
If you’re selling an eBook or course, make sure you have those upsells in your funnel.
This enables you to spend more acquiring each client.
5. Lots of bonuses make for a delightful onboarding process for your new mentees
Everyone loves positive surprises.
Sending them free stuff, creating an impromptu zoom hangout, there’s so much you can do to whow you care about your clients.
