Need to make money fast? You'll love my “ChatGPT wingman” client acquisition strategy
In dating, a “wingman” makes such a good impression on your potential date that they are much more likely to hear you out when you finally talk to them.
ChatGPT is going to be your wingman today.
This one will feed your target clients’ ego, virtually guarantees a response, and makes it look as if you put serious time into it.
The law of reciprocity says that once someone does something for you (especially when they make you feel good, or compliment them publicly, which is what you’re doing) that they will feel they “owe” you something back, even if just a reply.
This article is an excerpt from (The Ultimate Client Attraction Blueprint_ Unlock the Secret to Unlimited ChatGPT Clients), which you can get for FREE when you subscribe to my paid Substack subscription (which includes all my ChatGPT ebooks, a video course, and a private community. So I typed in “ecommerce store owner” into Twitter (the target market for my agency store owner) and found someone who looked like they were “in that world” - either directly involved in $1 million+ revenue generating ecommerce stores or knows people who are:
P.s. always a bit of a balancing act between them being “big enough to have a budget to pay you” but also not trying to pitch the CEO of Nvidia, who is so busy they will never see your tweet.
Aim for the sweet spot 🙂
So here’s what I told ChatGPT:
I want to write an article about "Test triggers" founder Josh Frank. It will be a riff/compilation/analysis of his tweets. I will then send a link to my blogpost and/or Facebook post and send it to him or tag him in a tweet. Ideally he sees it and we start talking.I've copied and pasted his tweets below. Please write me a blog post with a title like "10 things josh Frank's tweets taught me about running an ecommerce empire":
(Then I copied and pasted his tweets into the ChatGPt prompt box)
(note: I literally just scrolled down for 3 seconds, hit “select all”, copied and pasted his tweets into an Excel spreadsheet in Column A, then sorted the column alphabetically (this function on Google sheets:)
Then I just copied and pasted the tweets into ChatGPT)
ChatGPT replied with this awesome article:
(I actually forgot that I could’ve asked ChatGPT to come up with the title of the article too, as a copywriter I came up with it but you could get ChatGPT to do the hard work there AS WELL AS formatting and writing the thing)
So from here, you could make a blogpost on your site or Facebook page, tag him, and send it to him. GREAT way to start a conversation, near guaranteed response, and took you less than five minutes from start to finish.
An even quicker way to get this in front of him would be to turn this into a Twitter thread and tag him. Here’s the prompt you would use for that:
Great! could you format this into a Tweet thread I can copy and paste to send on my Twitter.
Have the first tweet tag him @joshfrank
ChatGPT replied:
Look at how DAMN COOL these tweets look!
Whoever you make this for will thank you if they see it, no doubt about it.
A lot of the time, people who know them will send it to them directly, even if they don’t see it.
I’ve found out about so many social media mentions, new blogs, or new videos about me from my audience sending things people made about me.
If the person who made anything about me reached out to me, I would 100% reply to them, and be open to seeing what they had to say.
This may seem like a lot for one sales lead but remember this part (maybe the most powerful part of anything in the “omnichannel” chapter took FIVE MINUTES start to finish to make.
Think about how many of your dream leads you could do this for in a day.
Again, “Sicko mode”.
So now let’s do the same for Linkedin, using the same data (copied and pasted tweets from our target client)
So
Unlike Twitter or Facebook, Linkedin has a very specific content type that gets the most engagement.
The Twitter thread is full of value and any of those tweets could get retweeted for big engagement.
On Linkedin, the dominant form of content that performs well is storytelling in short sentences.
So we need to be specific with our requests.
You’re about to learn something VERY IMPORTANT about using ChatGPT.
Okay, so I gave it the prompt:
Could you do the same but for a Linkedin post where we tag him.
Instead of 12 points, can you take the tweet data I sent you and turn it into a "linkedin" classically styled post.
As a reminder, this means: Big hook in the first sentence, very short sentences, aim to be profound. Only needs one big takeaway, not 12, again from what I learned from Josh Frank.
You don't need to mention you learned it from his "tweets" as we are on a different platform now.
Optimize the post for engagement on Linkedin, give people inspiration, motivation, something they can agree with, or throw rocks at their enemies.
Target market would be ecommerce store owners/people who sell online
(I’m gonna stop putting “and ChatGPT replied this before my screenshots, take it as red that I’ll include the text of my prompt (so you can copy and paste it and try it) and the reply will be a screenshot from my ChatGPT program.
So here’s what Chat replied when I told it to write me a Linkedin post about our target client…It started writing:
And I hit the “STOP GENERATING” button as I knew right away this prompt would not work on Linkedin. I inputted:
“This first sentence looks like a spam/ad. Needs to be a story.”
ChatGPT replied:
I cut it off again 🤣
(Gotta get that Linkedin style!)
That first sentence is too long. Make it shorter and more profound.
Now we’re talking!
This post could fly on Linkedin (Maybe without the hashtags)
When I copied and pasted it into Linkedin, I would tag him too.
The above style works well for Facebook, but you can also create listicles/Tweet threads on Facebook or other content forms and they could work, it’s really Linkedin which needs it’s own content form (and Tiktok, but that’s a whole other book!)
In all cases, if they don’t reply within 48 hours, you should send it to them directly and thank them for the inspiration.
Then when they reply, you’re now in a conversation with your ideal client!
And that’s how you use ChatGPT to get into conversation with your ideal client.
Now, you may still be thinking “that’s a lot of work”
Firstly, think about how much MORE work it would be for both examples:
1) In the “find and suggest improvements” method, you would have to do a full SEO analysis, or click every link on their website, or manually check all tweets rather than using software or ChatGPT to auto-generate improvements.
That really would be impossible to do if you wanted to pitch multiple clients in one day.
2) In the “write a piece of content about the target client” method, you would have to either hire a copywriter or spend the whole day writing blog posts about your potential clients, which would limit how many you could do in a day.
And like I always say, these ideas are just jumping off points for your own personalized ideas to win.
Some other things/prompts you can use ChatGPT for:
3) (Major key)Offer them a free service that ChatGPT can produce the results for you for, either a free trial for you getting paid for the same service, or a “foot in the door” to offer them other services
(I’ll presume you’re selling content or social media services for these examples)
Use case:
Reaching out to a potential client with: “Hey, I see you’re busy on Twitter and Substack, but notice you don’t create content on Linkedin.
Some of the biggest Substack publications like Lenny’s newsletter get the majority of their traffic from Linkedin.
I’ve had many posts go viral on Linkedin, reaching thousands of people.
I’m building case studies and would love to ghost write for your Linkedin (for free for a month) I will learn your voice and write as many posts as you want for the trial month -
You will approve & post the articles, I don’t need access to your account, and you can schedule the whole month in one 15-minute sitting) I guarantee your engagement will increase!
Interested?
–
If they reply they’re interested, try and get them on a call.
A risky card is to use the below prompt before they agree to trial it and send them some sample posts that you could create for them.
Positives:
> Shows you are proactive
> You aren’t pitching to “start” working with them, you’ve already started the work, this would be just continuing it!
> There’s a good chance there’ll be impressed with either the content of the posts and/or how you’ve captured their tone
Negatives:
> If they DON’T LIKE either the content of the posts and/or how you’ve captured their tone, that could kill the trial.
On the onboarding call you would get a better idea of what they want you to create. For instance they might say “I want to move towards working with software companies more” so if you’ve sent them sample posts based on what they *currently* write, it may be something they want to move away from.
–
No right or wrong answer here, just giving you options, as ever!
Prompt:
I want to ghostwrite on Linkedin for Josh Frank. Below I have copied and pasted some of his tweets as well as some blog posts he has written. I need you to learn his style of voice and output a sample Linkedin post in his tone of voice while keeping the hallmarks of a classic Linkedin post:
Very short sentences (particularly the first sentence), ONE theme per message, the post should be a simple story with a takeaway that his audience (ecommerce store owners) will agree with and/or throw rocks at the “enemies” of ecommerce store owners.
__
Then refine the sample post as I did previously.
What’s so great about this as a sales technique is:
> You have reversed all risk with the free trial
> the free trial indicates they are interested in having this service, even if they just wanted the free month, they probably wouldn’t bother even doing the trial if they had no interest in posting on Linkedin
> In this example, there’s a fair chance their engagement on Linkedin will increase as a result of this, as Linkedin (and all social channels) reward you highly for regularly producing content)
> most of all, like the previous example, this seems like a LOT of work to the client (“Wow, they want to work with me so bad they are gonna write 30-60 posts for me for free!”) buuuut…in reality this whole thing is just you hitting the enter button 30-60 inside ChatGPT once you’ve dialed in their voice (or brand voice if for a larger company).
This method works for MANY THINGS ChatGPT can do, and NO-RISK is LITERALLY THE BEST WAY TO CLOSE A CLIENT>
My agency offers a free no questions asked refund if we don’t lower a companies’ ad costs. That makes it much easier for our potential clients to say yes to.
As with all my examples, don’t focus on my examples, focus on “okay how can I do this in MY industry, with MY services”
(Nevertheless, I’ve grown a massive brand out of giving people the answers so let’s continue haha)

ChatGPT isn’t just a tool to make you money.
It can become your personal assistant, coach, planner, and much much more.
In this guide, I’ve compiled 25 ways to use ChatGPT that could seriously upskill your life!
In summary:
This is a revolutionary technology that can be pointed at an industry in the world & give you an unfair advantage.
Chat-GPT isn’t a “trick” or “industry secret”.
Chat-GPT can be applied to EVERYTHING.
Let’s say for instance, me and my agency wanted to keep the secrets to ourselves for sales copywriting using Chat-GPT.
Every business in the world needs sales copy.
Even if we wanted to, we couldn’t create a business to service every business in the world!
“Get rich quick” only works for a small number of people.
E.g. the people who got in early in crypto/NFT’s now own the majority of *all* crypto and valuable NFT’s in the world.
Likewise, dropshipping & dropshipping courses - Those who got in early took most of the money.
Again for those at the back!
Chat-GPt isn’t a “thing”.
Chat-GPT can be used on EVERYTHING.
You might want to help Dentists across America write better newsletters, social media copy, and ad copy - And you might be the first person to use Chat-GPT to do that.
You might want to use Chat-GPT to write SEO blog copy for small-to-medium sized businesses across the midwest USA. That’s a huge market but also may be one that not many people are thinking about, so you could own that niche.
Hence, Chat-GPT is not a “scheme” - It’s a tool you can use to make money with the industry you work in, or have an interest in.
This is the most useful product I have ever sold, and this entire Substack will transform to bring you ChatGPT/A.I. opportunities every day.
Grab my book bundle by subscribing to my paid Substack and let’s begin this journey together.
p.s. if you’ve read this far, you are likely more dedicated than 99% of readers!
One more client acquisition method coming later today!
